Minecraft Menu Distortion

I purchase minecraft just yesterday. I opened the Java Edition of the game, and I was shown this screen. This is the mojang logo screen and when it went to the menu it was SUPER distorted. I could still click the single and multiplayer options but the game was just unrecognizable. I tried changing resolution, updating my drivers, and updated java. Nothing is working. Please help!!!
