Can't open game/ virtual Java machine cant be found

For about half a year I haven't been able to play Minecraft on its original launch I have had to use the technic launcher but now that is starting to crash too. It is so annoying and everything I try to do to fix it just causes it to get worse. When I press play it immediately comes up with an error of Error: Could not create virtual Java machine and Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit. This is starting to get annoying since my pc has decent specs so it's not like I can't run it it just either crashes on Technic launcher or doesn't open at all on the MC launcher
