Torch Continued to Drop when Broken and cannot be picked up.

When you destroy a torch, it should drop and you should be able to pick it up.

When I destroyed a torch in a desert village attached to a sandstone block, it dropped then kept appearing higher up and falling again, I was not able to pick this torch up.

I am not sure whether this is a one-off or not.
