Guardian sound effect keeps playing after being targeted

EDIT: realized this has been posted already, please ignore.

Found an ocean monument, and a guardian started targeting me with its beam. After I killed it, the sound the beam makes was still looping. The only way I could get it to stop was reloading the world.
