Intense FPS lag when insta-mining blocks near world spawn

[UPDATE: ONLY NEAR WORLD SPAWN] Whenever I dig a shovel I can insta-mine with, it lags my game a TON. same with block placing etc. i had to move mine on the server just to play, so definitely needs a fix.
