Lighting bug in Ocean monument when respawning

I have set up my base in a drained ocean monument, but when i die and respawn in there every light source emits only light on the block the source is on. the lighting in the area closest is fixed when i place a new light source there. it does not matter what kind of light source, every type gets bugged
