some keys not working for inventory

What I expected to happen was...:
when I use tab or m3-5 as an inventory key it opens and closes accordingly

What actually happened was...:
tab selects the book and m3-5 does nothing

Steps to Reproduce:
1. bind inventory to tab/m3-5
2.  open inventory
3.  try to close inventory
