Can't feed Golden Apple to Zombie Villager

What I expected to happen was...:
After using a Splash Potion of Weakness, you're supposed to be able to "feed" a Golden Apple to a Zombie Villager by clicking on it with a Golden Apple in your hand.

What actually happened was...:
The splash potion worked, but clicking on the Zombie Villager with a Golden Apple does nothing.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Locate/Spawn a Zombie Villager.
2. Throw a Splash Potion of Weakness.
3. Attempt to "feed" a Golden Apple to the Zombie Villager.
