Updating "Force Unicode" setting resets selected language in the language selection menu

The bug

When selecting another language in the language selection menu, and then changing the "Force Unicode" option, the language changes to the previously selected language.

To reproduce

Open language menu
Select another language
Change "Force Unicode" setting
Your language selection is reverted to the previously used language
