Arrows kinetic force

Sometimes, arrows miss the target. And that is ok.

What is not ok is that the arrows keep their kinetic force even after they hit in the ground. This happened just a moment ago. A skeleton shot an arrow, it missed the shot.

After killing said skeleton, the arrow was stuck on the ground. I attempted to retrieve the arrow by walking over it. It did not work. So I started breaking blocks around it and stood there even after I removed 3 blocks around it.

When the 4th block was removed, the arrow suddenly hit me following the trajectory it was following before, as if the kinetic force was still there, trapped. I guess the skeleton did not miss the shot in the end.
