Bonus Chest issue

So I just logged on, and booted up a fresh world in Minecraft 1.14, to see the new changes and to beat the game on 1.14. And I spawned in a bonus chest, to get my "feet on the ground" and then I saw that instead of spawning on the ground, with up to 4 torches, it spawned mid-air, lacking any torches.
