Villagers stop pathfinding/restocking/AI tasks/etc. completely

After a certain amount of time, villagers can stop pathfinding/restocking/doing any AI requests at all.  Sometimes this lasts for very extensive periods of time, and sometimes it can be permanent.  Here are two villagers I've watched for nearly an hour.
