cats cant stand when put on beds and chests

hello my name is dawn and while playing the newest pre release of minecraft 1.14 release 5 for java (pc) i noticed that when you tame a cat and it sits on a chest and a  bed you cannot get it to stand I tried raw and cooked fish as well as having nothing in my hand when i click on him and nothing happens .
