Start swimming when you close a fence gate while standing inside it

What I expected to happen was...:
Going through the fence gate like with doors

What actually happened was...:
I started swimming on the ground

Steps to Reproduce:
When I stood in a 2x1 door way with two open fence gates placed in the doorway, and then tried to close the fence gates while standing inside of them, I start swimming on the ground, and stay that way until I climb out.
