Bunny takes damage while hopping

Bunnies take damage and die while hopping about the world. Nothing special needed to reproduce. Just find some bunnies. they will jump down a hill and die or take damage. VS the cat you can drop from build limit and they take no damage. No clue why a hopping mob was added that cannot hop w/o risk of death.
