Open/Close chest causes activation of trapdoor

When opening and closing a chest it seems to activate a nearby trapdoor.  This behavior changed between PR 1 and 5.

 

Place a chest and attach a hopper.  Place a slab on top of the hopper.  Attach a trapdoor to the front of the slab such that it flips down and up on the front of the slab.  Now open and close the chest and it toggles the trapdoor.
