Game Crashing

After the patch that included the Coral Reefs, my game has not been running properly. There is a big black line in the menu screen that appears constantly then disappears. It flickers on and off every 2-3 seconds. I load into a game and it continues. The game also crashes constantly from time to time, but I don't know specifically what I'm doing that it causes the game to crash, it appears to be random. I have reinstalled the game 3 different times went in through control panel to uninstall completely and still nothing is able to fix it.
