Server crash when scaffolding gets shot by crossbow with piercing

Server freezes (crashes) when a scaffold block gets shot with a crossbow that has any level of piercing

 

• no crash logs where found

 

^^ this was on a friends server, he has always wierd stuff. I tried it on a server that i hosted myself, but it didn't crash. also with the map transferd to me, still no crash, most likely corrupted download from my friend.
