Firework particle effect missing

What I expected to happen was...:
Particles would fly out like fireworks are supposed to

What actually happened was...:
Damage was present, but not particles

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a Firework
2. Get a Path Block
3. Fire Firework at top of Path Block
