Block Lag with Levers, Banners, and torches when placed and broken.

When banner, is placed it takes 2-3 seconds for the banner to appear.
When a torch or lever is broken, it creates a brief "ghost" version that vanishes after a few seconds.

Nothing can be placed on the block they occupy untill the ghost vanishes.
