Bed Pathfinding

It appears that more than 1 villager will path find to a certain bed and lock on that bed when nightfall comes.  Once one enters the bed, the other villager that has also locked on that bed will not find another bed.  It will just wander back and forth checking the bed to see if it is empty over and over and finding that it is occupied, will just keep rechecking over and over.  This will, if I am not mistaken, affect gossip in the morning since that villager did not rest.
