Vines make breaking sounds on decaying leaves

Title. When vines are supported by decaying leafs, the entire length of the vines break at once making a very loud sound. Any vines at all do this whether they are naturally occurring or not as long as they are on decaying leafs. You can imagine how chopping trees in a jungle or swamp and then hearing a very loud sound behind you can be disconcerting.
