Vindicator drops axes that aren't made of iron

I was playing around with raids, and killed a few Vindicators. They didn't seem visually different in any way from a normal Vindicator, weilding an iron axe. But when they died, one of them dropped a wooden and another a stone axe.

The raid was started on 'Normal', before I switched to 'Easy'.
