missing mob drops after killing. no chicken feathers from Chickens or blaze rods from Blaze.

missing mob drops after killing. no chicken feathers from Chickens or blaze rods from Blaze. 

What I expected to happen was...:
When killing mobs expecting to receive their drops, there are none. Killed 5 blaze and no rods, killed 5 chickens and no feathers 

What actually happened was...:
I would get the kill and xp but no drops.

 

Please know I searched a long time and could not find anything on this
