Overly-Agressive Culling

I just got back into Minecraft and decided to start up a survival world. I changed the FOV slider to Quake Pro as I get a headache if I play with anything lower than that. This is the second time with 10 minutes of me starting my new world running into aggressive culling while caving. I haven't looked to see if I can recreate this in other snapshots. Please fix this issue as its rather annoying and immersion breaking. Thanks!
