Can't place blocks on specific locations

So in my world, there is a specific block coordinate (1276 70 -683) where if I try to place a block there, the block only appears for a split second then the block vanishes without a trace, leaving just a block of air. In other words, the block was not placed down. The surrounding block coordinates are not affected by this. I tried reproducing this by going to the same coordinate and place blocks in other other worlds including the same seed, they work fine.
