Launcher and reinstall efforts failed

The updater didn't even get an once of green on it, I was immediately greeted by those two windows, and once I uninstalled to reinstall because I thought that would work, the tab that should have reinstalled it simply wasn't found, and afterwards I found this site, and looked but either didn't understand or the description was similar, but not the same, like they said it would take forever and fail, mine would instant fail.
