Game crashes when taking potions from brewing stand

My game crashes whenever I try to take a potion from a brewing stand.  I've tried it with several brewing stands, and the same thing happens.  As soon as I remove a potion, either by right clicking it or left clicking and dragging it, the game crashes with this error:
