Villager Spawn egg spawn brown coat

As shown below, I excitedly went to the nearest village to check mechanics. After being dissappointed that villagers spawned in composters won't become farmers until 3 mins later, I went over to the nearby forest biome to see if I spawned a villager there if it would join the desert village. I ended up with a brown coat.
