lag sometimes causes 2 blocks to break or be placed

this happens only when the game lags. sometimes if i try to place or break a block it places 2 blocks or breaks 2 blocks. the blocks get placed or break 2 times. As shown in the pictures, the debug menu is on to prove that its lagging and having a low FPS.
