Extreme Lag when cutting down large oak trees or many small/regular trees

What I expected to happen was...:
No major drop in FPS when cutting down trees

What actually happened was...:
Major drop, like from 60 to single digits FPS while cutting down trees and when looking in the general direction of the area while leaves are decaying

Steps to Reproduce:
Cut down a lot of trees. Pretty sure im in the wrong place but hey hopefully this'll go noticed....
