Can't re-spawn after loading a world

After loading into my world, the 'respawn' button is clickable, yet doesn't work.

As seen in the video, I have tried changing my resolution to fix the issue, yet to no avail.

This happens every time I join the world, so I am unsure how to recreate it.

The only "fix" I've found is to find the spot where I'm at the 'You died' screen and have another player place a pressure plate that kills me underneath, but where I am on the 'You died' screen keeps changing.

The bug stays consistent on singleplayer and on a server.
