Rails not working correctly, minecarts not going around corners

remembered that furnace minecarts were a thing and wanted to try them out

tried going in a circle and it wouldn't work

attempted long run up and did work but only around one type of corner

tried with sit-in minecart and doesnt work

tried with 19w08a and it works as normal
