cows cliping suffocating or even going trough blocks when logging in and out

when I leave my world and later come back in my cows go missing or sometimes are out of their pens. I've lost all my cows after 1.4 and its still going on even though they have plenty of space to move around in. the pictures show the before and after sighing out.

Please help this is really bugging me!
