Java VM Crash when mining jungle trees

Not a clue if this is related with my activity (mining jungle trees) but i got a sudden hard crash of the complete application after playing it for 30 minute or so. AFAIK i wasn't doing anything weird else on my machine and the game behaved as normal until crash. Screen just freezed for a few seconds before the game crashed.
