When I died after a wolf killed me, it remained angry at me

It might have also existed in other versions too, but I don't know.

What happened was that when I hit one wolf that I spawned, all of the wolves that I spawned get angry if not tamed, so it is normal. Although, when I respawn, they are still angry but don't attack. I am also not able to tame them. To get them to stop being angry at me, I need to exit out of my world and re-enter it.
