Death but unable to respawn - Screen shaking

I was in survival, flying with an elytra, i smashed into netherbrick and "died" my heath dropped to zero hearts. I remained alive and my screen is shaking/glitching back and forth uncontrollably with a slight tilt. I can move around and interact with my environment but cannot access chests or beds. I cannot heal myself, I cannot sleep in a bed, I cannot kill myself. I even tried jumping into the void but now I am stuck there - in an eternal purgatory.  Please help! A screen shot will not properly convey what is happening.
