Vindicators don't swing their axes when breaking doors

When Vindicators are breaking doors they don't swing their axes, or rather they don't even equip them. 

What I expected: Vindicator equips axe and swings it to break the door,

What happened instead: Vindicator doesn't even equip the axe, still breaks the door without it.
