Trader llamas panic when hurt by the player

Trader llamas panic when hurt by the player. In survival/adventure mode although they do spit at the player, they resume panicking after they successfully spit on the player. Regular llamas do not exhibit this behavior, leading me to believe that it is unintended.

How to reproduce:

1. Summon a trader llama
2. Go into survival mode
3. Hit the trader llama

         →  The llama spits at the player, then proceeds to run away after landing a hit.
