Mounted Horse by the Player

I am unable to go into the Nether portal and the End Portal when I am mounted on my horse, I tryed to recreate this bug in several ways, all show the same result. I do not see the swirlling effect when in directly in the Nether portal. Even if this is not a bug, please update the game to allow dimension travel while mounting a horse. Thanks
