Time glitch with the sun and moon

Hello Everyone,

So basically I was playing Minecraft about 6 months ago, and I realised the day was too long. I looked at the sun which went up a few pixels... then down. up, then down. The Minecraft day was infinite! This happens to all my worlds, in all the released versions and also my friends worlds. I haven't played Minecraft since. I've tried turning down my render distance, uninstalling minecraft, erasing my computer and attaching a crash report. and more.

Please help!

Me and my friend both play on a Macbook Air, I play on Mojave and she plays on High Sierra.
