Jumping doesn't work

When I'm on 19w04a and I want to jump while running, I can, but if i'm in the edge of a block and I try to jump over another, I can't, I have to release the key "W" in order to jump.

I hope this is a bug and not a feature, because this will break every parkour map or speedrun.

I don't have any images because I'm not in the PC in which I play Minecraft, but I can attach a YouTube screenshot.
