New collision code makes jumping very difficult

When moving around the world, trying to jump get' stuck if you run against a block. if you jump just before touching the edge it's fine. but even changing to auto-jump, sometimes it works, but often I get stuck. I have to stop pushing the forward arrow, jump, and while in mid-air try and time it right and I can get over edges. it's a major "hurdle" in playing
