Armor and elytra not showing up / working properly

Usually happens after teleportation or going to a different dimension. Two things can occur - the armor does not show up at all even after re-equipping it or it doesn't work (elytra does not open). Reloading the world doesn't always solve the issue. Reloading the game also does not always solve the issue.
