The Slime's Sound is Classified as a Friendly Creature

Hello Mojang,

I was chopping trees at a new village in a superflat and, a slime came by. I was listening to the Minecraft music because it's so peaceful and I wanted to turn the Slime's noise off. I turned off the hostile creatures dial. It kept on doing it's noise. Then I turned off the friendly creatures dial and it stopped! I turned the Hostile Creatures sounds back on with the friendly off, and it didn't make a sound! This is affecting my game because what if I want to hear Moos and Baas and not Bounces? Please fix this bug as it will help me a lot.
