Unusual perspective renders savegame unplayable

When I loaded the game I was playing on the previous version, my perspective was zoomed in very far – far enough that if I tried to fire an arrow, about halfway through the draw my view inverts until I shoot the arrow (the same thing happens when I go underwater) – and my walking speed is dramatically faster – not sure I could say how much faster, but simply hitting a direction key is enough to fling myself off a cliff.
