Please fix the colormaps

This has been going on for a long time. I want to be able to alter the colors of the colormap. ALL the colors. Jungle grass and foliage won't change, swamp grass won't change. Where does it stop?! I want to make a texture pack that alters these colors but lo and behold...plain colors. I don't like how it ruins the immersion of the pack.

THIS BUG HAS BEEN AROUND FOR AT LEAST THREE YEARS!!!

 

I would have thought someone would have fixed this issue by now, has no dev noticed this issue?
