Chunks not loading in multiplayer

When connecting to multiplayer servers outside of the subject computer refuse to load, only loading in small areas of chunks. Reinstalling has not fixed the problem, and only seems to impact multiplayer functions. LAN play works fine when it is not hosted on an outside computer.
