Falling Sand does not Update into a block if it hits a Fence Post.

I Was Excavating a Shipwreck when I destroyed some sand, and another block fell. However, I Tried to destroy it and Nothing happened. In Photo 1 I am literally INSIDE it. I Know this might be a little late and the Next snapshot it coming like, Tomorrow. But, I Decided to post this.
