Trying to open latest version, keep getting "unable to save" message

Ran the recommended installer. Every time we try to Play we get an error message that says it is unable to save certain components and it quits. Very frustrating. Have tried multiple times and various versions of the game. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and saved to different drives on the PC without success.
